Start Date: November 2008

Construct upgrades to Holmedale Water Treatment Plant with rated capacity of 100,000m3/day including:

New three-story admin building

New treatment facility including two clearwells, two blackwash water wells, eight filters, vertical turbine pumps, UV disinfection chem. systems and associated piping, valves and appurtenances

Modifications to existing Pre-Treatment facility to convert chlorine contact tanks to ozone contact tanks

Modify the existing lean-to structure to house additional chemical equipment, demolish (piping, valves and appurtenances to construct new piping and an enclosure/room in basement)

New HL Pumping Station complete with wet wells and horizontal centrifugal pumps and associated piping, valves and appurtenances and electrical equipment

New Transformer station including: stand-by power supply, yard piping, site works, Pre-selected equipment (Ozone system, LOX system, UV reactors), demolition of old works
